Class Schedule

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and profiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorhship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials,do not represent income to the AHA.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THE COURSE?

Healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics.

COURSE COVERS

  • Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest

  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia

  • Airway management

  • Related pharmacology

  • Management of ACS and stroke

  • Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

 

 

The ACLS Skills Check is for anyone who has purchased and completed the Heartcode Online ACLS course and only needs skills check to receive their certificate. Please bring a copy of your Online Completion Certificate to class.  We provide a stress free learning enviornment that promotes student success.  Feel free to contact us with any questions.

This is the most common kind of BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification needed by Healthcare Workers. Required for working in the healthcare industry such as a hospital, clinic, nursing home, assisted living facility or any healthcare setting.
